Born in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo State, Pedro Malamam started photographing when he was 16. He studied Photography at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires, where he has received an honourable mention in the category of black and white photography. His main influence is the Brazilian popular culture and his aim is to record the natural and ethnological beauties of his country. At present, he is dedicating himself to documentary photography and journalism throughout Brazil. His works have been published in various media such as National Travel, Diário Catarinense and Revista Level. Pedro lives in Florianópolis and is about to join the Brazil Expedition together with photographer Renan Rosa.
